Eugene R. Nichols, 84, of Clarion, Iowa, died March 21, 2012.

Local survivors include a son Ronald (Cathy) Nichols of Hiawatha, their children Ryan, and  Carissa.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, March 23, at First Lutheran Church, 420 First Street North West in Clarion. 
Ewing Funeral Home of Clarion is in charge of arrangements.
