Mark A. Kabriel, 44, of Blue Rapids, KS, died Sunday, August 24, 2014 at his home.

Visitation will be Wednesday, August 27, from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. at the Axtell-Landreth Funeral Home in Axtell. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m.

A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 28 at the Axtell United Methodist Church.

Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery at Axtell.

Mark was born April 23, 1970 at Marysville, KS, son of Gary and Sharon (McAtee) Kabriel. In 1988, he graduated from Axtell High School and then completed the Automotive Collision Repair Program at Manhattan Area Technical College.

He worked for Titan Trailer Manufacturing in Waterville, Precision Truss in Marysville and in 2013 began working as a welder for Landoll Corporation in Marysville.

Survivors include his parents, Gary and Sharon Kabriel, Summerfield, KS; brother, Brian (Stephanie) Kabriel, Olathe, KS; and niece, Kaylee Kabriel.

A memorial fund has been established to the American Diabetes Association. Contributions may be sent in care of the Axtell-Landreth Funeral Home, 205 4th St., Axtell, KS 66403
