TROY, KANSAS Victor “Short” K. Sutton, 81, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015 at his home in Troy, Kansas.

Short was born on December 7, 1933 in Troy, Kansas to Victor and Gladys (Taylor) Sutton. He was a lifelong resident of Troy where he farmed and worked for Atchison Casting as a press operator retiring after 44 years of service.

He was a member of the Community of Christ Church in Fanning, Kansas.

Victor married Margaret Whetstine on March 28, 1953 in Troy. She survives of the home.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a son, Gary Ray Sutton, 2 half-brothers, Benny and Gene Taylor.

Additional survivors; sons, Wayne Sutton (Peggy) of St. Joseph, Missouri Bernard Sutton (Mary) of Troy, Kansas Kevin Sutton (Robin) of Troy, Kansas 6 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends
