Pacey Marie Maxfield passed away peacefully in the loving arms of her mother and father on the evening of April 18, 2017. She came early to her loving family and left us too soon. Pacey was born on her mother’s birthday April 17, 2017 at 11:30 a.m. at Stormont Hospital in Topeka, Kansas.

She is survived by her parents Samantha Stephenson and Wesley Maxfield of Horton, KS; Grandparents Lori “Charlie” Wiltz (Jeff Morton) of Kansas City, KS, Rodney Stephenson (Kim) of St. Joseph, MO, Lesa Blunt of Horton, KS; Aunts and Uncles: Matthew Stephenson (Taylor) of St. Joseph, Christopher Jones of Hiawatha, Hunter Huss and Payton Huss, both of St. Joseph, Nichole (Juan) Gonzales of Hiawatha; Great-grandparents: Virgil and Lois Wiltz, Verle and Jeanne Stephenson, of Hiawatha, and Virginia Blunt of Effingham, KS; numerous great aunts and uncles: Brenda (Tim) Schuetz, Debbie (Randy) Phillips of Hiawatha, Tony (Carol) Stephenson of St. Joseph, Angela (Fred) Dimmel of Blue Springs, MO, Diana (Vic) Bear of Wathena, Jennifer (Paul) Crandell of Gilbert, AZ, Sandy (Larry) Becker of Everest, and Angie (Tom) Grandpre of Everest.

Services planned for 11 a.m. Friday, April 21, at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Hiawatha, with Shane Spangler officiating. Interment will follow at Babyland at Mt. Hope Cemetery.

The family will meet with friends one hour prior to services.
