Emmett Joseph Kramer, 71 of Pawnee City, Nebraska formerly of Seneca, Kansas, died April 26,2017 at the Nemaha Valley Community Hospital in Seneca.

He was born February 26,1946 to Lawrence and Rose Kramer in Baileyville, Kansas. He spent his childhood growing up in the Seneca and Baileyville area. He attended school at Baileyville Kansas. After school Emmett did various truck driving and harvest jobs. He loved talking to people, driving around the country side and spending time with his family especially his grandchildren. 

On February 12, 1972, he married Sandra Rose. Out of that marriage came 3 children Sherri, Jamie, and Chris. At a later date, they divorced.

Emmett is survived by his mother Rose Kramer, fiancé Verniece Scott, his 3 children Sherri and (husband) Frank DeLeon of Garden City, Kansas, Jamie Kramer of Pawnee City, Nebraska, and Chris and (wife) Tonya Kramer of Johnson, Nebraska, 5 Grandchildren Alisha, Alissa, Tristen, Dalton, Daykon, 3 sisters Jeanette , Mary Ann and Elsie, 3 brothers Ken, Marvin, Cletus, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Emmett is proceeded in death by his father Lawrence August Kramer, a brother Richard Kramer and a sister Rita Kramer.

Rosaries will be prayed at 2 & 7 PM Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca, Kansas. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 AM Monday, May 1st at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Baileyville, Kansas.  Burial in the church cemetery.
