Jeffery M. Buser, 67, of Seneca, died on May 8, 2017 at Crestview Nursing and Residential Living in Seneca.

Jeff was born on September 19, 1949 to Alfred A. and Gladys L. Wempe Buser. Jeff attended Sts. Peter and Paul School; graduating High School with the Class of 1967. In 1967, Jeff entered in to the United States Navy at Kansas City. Missouri, while in the Navy he served on the USS Franklin D. Roosevelt (CVA42). He was discharged on October 31, 1969 at the rank of E2.

Following the service Jeff attended Barber school in Topeka; where he stayed for 10 years before returning to Seneca. Jeff had various jobs in Seneca, until his poor health forced him to retire.

Jeff loved to read, watch westerns, listen to records, travel and to bowl. He was a member of Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Arthur Mills Post 21 of the American Legion, Seneca Knights of Columbus Council 1769 all in Seneca. Jeff, when he was able, did adoration at the church.

Jeff was preceded in death his father, Alfred on June 30, 2010; his mother, Gladys on January 15, 1998; and a brother, Jon on May 23, 1993.

Jeff is survived by siblings Jim (Theresa) Buser of Huston, Texas, Joe (Rosa) Buser of Manhattan, Kansas, Lisa (Bernie) Ronnebaum, of Seneca and Josh (Katie) of Norman, Oklahoma; and his nieces and nephews.

A rosary will be prayed at 7 PM on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 AM on Friday, May 12th, at Sts. Peter and Paul’s Catholic Church at Seneca. Burial is in the church cemetery.

Military honors will be provided.

Memorials may be given to Sts. Peter and Paul Window Fund, and/or St. Bede’s Building Fund sent in care of the family.
