Wathena, Kansas Anita “Darlene” Greub, 86, of Wathena, Kansas passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at the Wathena Nursing & Rehabilitation Center.

Darlene was born on September 29, 1930 in Easton, Missouri to Nathan & Edna (Roberts) Morris.

She graduated from Bendena High School & was a member of the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, St. Ann’s Altar Society, VFW Auxiliary & the Cordonettes. She was a housewife, worked for DCEC as a Para & cooked for Heartland Healthcare.

Darlene married Clement Greub Sr. on July 8, 1950 in Wathena, Kansas. He preceded her in death on January 21, 1998. She was also preceded in death by her parents & 2 sisters, Delores England & Dorrene Mitchell.

Survivors: daughters, Mary K. Simpson (Gary) of Troy, Kansas Barbara J. Wilson (Terry) of Lawrence, Kansas Theresa M. McKnight (Rick) of St. Joseph, Missouri Denise R. Ernzen (Richard) of Troy, Kansas Nancy D. Drake (Tim) of Wathena, Kansas Sons, Roger A. Greub (Paula) of Wathena, Kansas Clement A. Greub Jr. (Cecelia) of Wathena, Kansas 7 grandchildren & 3 great-grandchildren Nieces & nephews

Funeral Mass: 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, May 17, 2017 At the St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Wathena, Kansas Rosary: 6 P.M. Tuesday evening at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena, Kansas, with visitation to follow until 8 P.M. Friends may call after 12 noon Tuesday at the funeral home.
