Janet Lucille (Herpich) Scheibe, 79, Overland Park, KS, passed away peacefully in the company of her loved ones and went to be with her Lord June 24, 2017.

Janet was born February 12th, 1938 in Denton, to Clarence and Rosalee Herpich.  

She was preceeded in death by her father and brother, John Herpich.

She is survived by her husband, Robert Scheibe; son, Doug Scheibe, his wife Jane and their children, Eliza and Jack; daughter, Kristin Liechty, her husband Johnny and their children, J.D. and Josh. She is also survived by her mother, Rosalee Herpich (who turns 100 on August 14th); her brother, Dick Herpich, his wife Ruth and their children, Paul (Lori), David and Stephanie; her sister-in-law, Lois Herpich, and her children, Pam (Lee), Jon (Tammy), Laura (Mark), Jackie (Mark), Jenny (Brad), and many great nieces and great nephews.

A memorial service to celebrate Janet's life will be held July 22, at 2 p.m. at Community Covenant Church, 15700 W. 87th Street Pkwy, Lenexa, KS 66219.

If you attend, please feel free to wear something in her favorite color - purple. If you choose to send flowers, the church will be open until 5 p.m. on the Friday before the service. In lieu of flowers, the family would be honored if you made a donation in her name to the Alzheimer's Association (www.alz.org) and/or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network (www.pancan.org).
