Phil Perkins, 51, Valley Falls, died Monday, July 17, 2017, at a Topeka hospital.

He was born Oct. 30, 1965, at Oklahoma City, OK, the son of Phillip B. and Gaynell Wooley Perkins. He graduated from Valley Falls High School in 1983.
   

Phil had worked for Kansasland Tire and Service and Cross Midwest Tire, both in Topeka, D J’s Rock Creek Marina at Meriden, and Valley Health Care in Valley Falls. He had attended the Holton Nazarene Church.
Phil enjoyed cooking, camping and fishing, and his two special dogs, Mollie and Snuggles.

He married Davida Ross, Apr. 8, 1991, at Platte City, MO. They divorced. 

He was preceded in death by his daughter, Katie Perkins, Jan. 28, 2017, a grandson, Jace Andrew Beagle, and his parents, Phillip B. Perkins and Gaynell Hobbs.

Survivors include his life partner, Davida Perkins, Valley Falls; two sons, Phillip Perkins, Valley Falls, and William Michael Perkins, Topeka; two daughters, Carrie Perkins, and Courtney Perkins, both of Valley Falls; family friend, Casey Jones, Hoyt; a brother, Clyde Eudy, and his wife, Carol, Salem, OR; two sisters, Jamie Coppin, Oklahoma, City, OK, and Teresa Benoit, and her husband, Mike, Bethany, OK; and 10 grandchildren, Jake, Emmett, Bailey, Lily, Abel, Alayna, Andrew, Caleb, Alexis and Austin.

Family and friends will gather for a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday, July 28, 2017, at Mercer Funeral Home in Valley Falls. There will be a private Memorial Service. Inurnment will be at the Valley Falls Cemetery. Online condolences are welcome at www.mercerfuneralhomes.com.
