Anna Marie Kneen, 71, of Valley Falls, died Sunday, July 23, 2017 at her home with her daughters close by.

She was born September 11, 1945 in Leavenworth the daughter of Theodore Francis and Kathryn Josephine Brose Wistuba. She was a 1963 graduate of Winchester High School. She retired in 2007after 10 years as a merchandiser for Payless Shoe Source in Topeka. She had formerly worked as a machine operator for the Hallmark Company in Leavenworth and Lawrence for several years. Anna served as a longtime 4-H leader for the Valley Victors 4-H club and served as leader for the Jefferson County 4-H  Horticulture and Beef Projects for many years.

She was married to Thomas Lee “Tom” Kneen on November 6, 1971 at Easton, he preceded her in death on March 12, 2013.  

She is survived by two daughters, Toni (Randy) Reeves, Valley Falls, Kim Kneen, Valley Falls, one sister, Rose Mary (Glen) Herring, Meriden, two brothers, Francis “Ted” (Connie) Wistuba, Winchester, Larry (Louise) Wistuba, Winchester, and four grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by a son, James “Jim” Kneen on June 24, 1996.

Services at 10:00 AM, Wednesday at Barnett Family Funeral Home, Oskaloosa. Burial at Valley Falls Cemetery. Visitation 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Tuesday at Barnett Family Funeral Home.
