Robert C. Blain, 68 of Falls City, NE, passed away July 31, 2017 at Falls City, NE.  He was born April 30, 1949 at New York, NY to Earl and Antoinette (Passerelli) Blain.

Following graduation from High School, on August 23rd 1967 he enlisted in the US Army. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War earning a National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Army Commendation Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Sharpshooter Badge, Marksmanship badge and a Bronze Star Medal.  He was honorably discharged on July 26, 1971.  Robert moved to Falls City in 2007 where he remained until his death.

Robert is survived by his son, Eric Blain and his fiance’ Kayla Mattingly of Springfield, MO, daughter, Amy Blain of Falls City, grandson, Samuel Blain of Springfield and Step-grandson, Elgin James of Springfield.

As per Robert’s wishes his body has been cremated and no services are planned.
