Shane Eugene Martin, 35, of Horton, KS passed away suddenly Sunday, August 13, 2017 at Horton Hospital. He was born February 25, 1982 in Holton, KS the son of Eugene Walter Martin and Linda Kay (Hopkins) Marr.

Shane attended Seaman High School where he participated in wrestling and football. He worked for Crosswinds dog food plant in Hiawatha for a while.

Shane married Crystal Lanier, they were divorced. He married Betsy Rose Douglas, they later separated.

Survivors include his son, Jeremy Eugene Martin of Topeka; his step-father and mother, John and Linda Marr of Topeka; his father, Eugene Martin of Commerce, OK; sister, Stephanie Lynn Martin of Holton, KS; step-sister, Debra Martin of Arizona; brother, James Ray Martin of Topeka, KS; many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

 He was preceded in death by a son, Joshua Ray Martin in 2006.

Funeral Services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton with burial to follow in the Holton Cemetery.
