Judith K. Wigle, 73, of White Cloud, died peacefully surrounded by her family, Thursday evening, August 24, 2017, at home.

Judy was born at White Cloud, December 27, 1943, born to Norman Dean Blanton and Mary Ellen Penny Rhodd. She grew up at White Cloud where she attended school. One of Judy’s greatest accomplishments was getting her high school diploma at age of 52. She worked for WDC club in Highland for numerous years. Judy spent most of her working life at Hiawatha Community Hospital as a cook in the dietary department before retiring.

She enjoyed sewing, reading, working in flowers, and going to play bingo. She enjoyed spending time and cooking for family, especially the grandchildren.

Survivors include her children Kimberlie Tilton (Pat) of White Cloud, Richard Wigle (April) of White Cloud, Anthony Wigle (Kyla) of Ashland. Nebraska; her siblings Geral Blanton (Cathy) of rural Hiawatha, Debby Waggoner (David) of White Cloud, Vernon Rhodd (Joni) of Rulo, Nebraska, and Penny Tilton (Ron) of White Cloud; and 11 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and step-father Vernon Rhodd, Sr.

Friends may call at Chapel Oaks Funeral Home in Highland after 10 a.m. Monday where the family will meet from 6 until 7:30 Monday evening.

Family and friends will gather at the funeral home by 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, to go in procession for graveside funeral services at 11 a.m. Tuesday, August 29, at Olive Branch Cemetery, White Cloud. Angie Cluck will officiate.
