Jacqueline Jo Anne “Boppies” Krupinski, 82, Atchison, Kansas died Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at the Atchison Hospital.

Mass of Christian burial will be Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 10:30 A.M. at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church with Rev. Jeremy Heppler, OSB as celebrant. Interment will follow in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A parish and Daughter’s of Isabella rosary will be recited on Monday, September 4, 2017 at 6:30 P.M. in the chapel of Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with visitation with the family to follow until 8:00 P.M. Memorial contributions are suggested to Benedictine College, St. Benedict Catholic School Endowment or Atchison Humane Society and may be left in care of the funeral home. Joanne was born June 9, 1935 in Johnstown, Pennsylvania the daughter of John Jack Geddes and Evelyn Rutledge Myers. She attended elementary school in Pennsylvania graduating from Oak Park River Forest High School in Chicago, Illinois.

She and Raymond A. Krupinski were united in marriage on February 16, 1957 in Oak Park River Forest, Illinois.

Joanne was a homemaker and stay at home Mom to her children. She did for brief periods work outside of the home for Mullins Hardware, Benedictine College and O’Keefe Law Office.

She was a member of St. Benedict Parish, past president and longtime member of the Junior Guild; Jaycee Jaynes; Contract Bridge League; St. Benedict College Faculty Wives; Atchison Lady Elk’s; a former Girl Scout Leader; Atchison Hospital Auxiliary; Friends of the Atchison Library; St. Elizabeth’s Circle; Daughter’s of Isabella; Red Hat Society and enjoyed playing Bunco.

Survivors include a daughter, Robin (Dan) Hennigh, Atchison, KS; a son, Thomas G. Krupinski, Erie, PA; three grandchildren, Kirsten (Ronnie) Moppin, Atchison, KS; Samuel Hennigh, Manhattan, KS; Jacob Hennigh, Atchison, KS; brother-in-law, William “Vince” Adomaitis, Aurora, IL; and special friends, Dorlene Blodig, Atchison, KS and Sherry Lange, Atchison, KS.

Joanne was preceded in death by a brother, Blair Myers.
