Ora E. Tisdale, 81, of Atchison, KS died Wednesday, August 30, 2017 at the Atchison Senior Village.

Funeral services will be 4:00 pm Friday, Sept. 8th, 2017 at the Becker-Dyer-Stanton Funeral Home. The body will be cremated following the service. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 pm on Friday at the funeral home. Condolences to the family may be left online at www.beckerdyer.com.

Ora was born on June 7, 1936 in Luverne, Alabama the daughter of Ralph and Lovie (Miller) Perkins. She was a housewife and homemaker, a member of the Campbell Chapel AME Church where she taught Sunday school and served as a Steward. She enjoyed sewing and especially her children and grandchildren.

Survivors include two sons, Clarence (Barbara) Tisdale, Rio Rancho, NM, and Calvin (Jaime) Tisdale, Atchison, KS, a sister, Anne Jo Perkins, Newark, NJ, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
