Marilyn Ann Hontz

Marilyn Ann Hontz, 68, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Mission Village Nursing Center in Horton, Kansas.

She was born on September 1, 1949 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Joseph and Geraldine Bentley Leger.

Marilyn worked as a waitress prior to retiring.

Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Newson of Atchison, Kansas; son, Tony Newson of Gardner, Kansas; four brothers, Thomas, Elton, Chris and Brent Leger; four sisters, Marsha Jacobs, Sharon Leger, Lori Morrow and Ellen Leger; 11 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

The family will greet friends on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas from 1:00 to 2:30 P.M. with inurnment to follow at the Rulo Cemetery in Rulo, Nebraska. A special message may be sent to the family at www.dishon-maple-chaney.com
