Randy Roudybush

Randy Neal Roudybush, 64, of Wetmore, KS passed away Sunday, October 22, 2017. He was born December 9, 1952 in Holton, KS the son of Norman and Mabel “Irene” (Trundle) Roudybush.

Randy graduated from Alt High School in Alt, CO and later attended Washburn University and Ft. Hays State University. He graduated from Northwest Iowa School of Taxidermy in 1989. Randy proudly served in the United States Navy aboard the USS Davidson during the Vietnam War. He was a member of the American Legion Post 282 in Wetmore.

Randy married Sandra “Sandy” Sue Sanders on April 12, 1975 in Ellsworth, KS. She survives of the home. Other survivors include his parents, Norman and Irene Roudybush of Wetmore, KS; 2 sons, Matthew Roudybush (Lisa) of Nielsville, MN and David Roudybush (Aileen) of Manhattan, KS; one daughter, Michelle Novotny (William) also of Manhattan, KS; 2 sisters, Debbie Frayer of Powhattan, KS and Nancy Hackler of Wetmore, KS; one brother, Michael Roudybush of Holton, KS; and 10 grandchildren, Derek, Hunter, Hannah, Payton “Squeaky”, Braden, Zander, Kamisha, Alisha, Alayne and Matthew.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday, October 26, 2017 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial with Military Honors will follow in the Wetmore Cemetery. Family will greet friends from 5:30 – 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the funeral home.  Memorials may be given to the Vietnam War Memorial Fund c/o Mercer Funeral Home, P.O.
