Rollo “Milton” Myer, 86, of Holton, KS, formerly of Soldier, passed away Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at The Pines in Holton. He was born November 18, 1930 in Soldier, the son of Rollo Adam and Leah Mildred (Kidney) Myer.

Milton graduated from Soldier High School. He proudly served in the United States Marine Corp. from 1951 – 1953, during the Korean Conflict. Milton spent 17 years farming in Onaga and 11 years in Holton as a farmer and stockman.

He married Marie E. Wilson Fridell on April 27, 1968 in Soldier. She survives.

He was preceded in death by a son, Larry Adam Myer on December 7, 1995.

Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, November 10, 2017 at the Mercer Funeral Home in Holton. Burial with military honors will follow in the Soldier Cemetery.
