Bertha Ann Boro, 66, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, January 3, 2018 at the Sabetha Community Hospital.

She was born on July 7, 1951 in Kansas City, Kansas the daughter of Harold and Florence Brown Cox. She graduated from Horton High School in 1969. Bertha worked as a CNA at the Tri-County Manor, Horton Hospital and was a housekeeper at the Golden Eagle Casino. She attended the Church Of The Lord Jesus Christ Church in Horton. Bertha married Carl Boro in Kansas City, Kansas in 1981. They later divorced.

Survivors include two daughters, Carla Boro of Horton, Kansas and Mary Boro of Everest, Kansas; brother, Scott Cox of Hiawatha, Kansas and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, for sisters, Mary Moler, Rose Frakes, Sheila Cox and Ruby Cox.
