Arthur Wayne Long, 64, of Leavenworth, KS formerly of Atchison died Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at the Medicalodge of Leavenworth.

Funeral services will be 1:00 PM on Monday, Jan. 29th, 2018 at the Becker Dyer Stanton Funeral Home with Rev. Michael Strickland officiating. Burial will follow in the Sunset Memory Gardens, Atchison. Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until time of service at the funeral home. Wayne was born on March 16, 1953 in Neosho, MO the son of Bobby D. and Anna (Carterman) Long. He graduated from Atchison High School in 1971. He worked as an attendant for his father’s service station, Hudson Service, in Winthrop, MO. He later worked for Achievement Services, Atchison from 1980-1997.

Survivors include several aunts, uncles and cousins, and his guardian and care giver, Jerry Henry, His parents, and a brother, Jerry Long preceded him in death.
