Sharon S. Dieckhoff, 74, of Tecumseh, passed away at her home in Tecumseh, Nebraska, Saturday, February 24, 2018.  She was born to Harry Gerold and Ruby Ellen (Moreland) Myers on December 4, 1943 in Lemons, Missouri.  Her family moved to the Cook, Nebraska area when she was a young girl and she attended Cook Public Schools graduating from Cook High School in 1961.  She was united in marriage to Arnold Dieckhoff on July 4, 1964 at Martin Luther Church, Johnson, Nebraska.  To this union one son was born, Arnold Dieckhoff, Jr. Arnold and Sharon made their home on their family farm about 5 1/2 miles northeast of Tecumseh.  She and Arnold were long time members of Martin Luther Church.  Arnold passed away December 30, 2008.
  Sharon worked for the Campbell Soup Company in Tecumseh as well as being a farm wife and mother.  In April of 2009, Sharon moved to the Tecumseh Manor.  In her spare time she enjoyed reading, walking and visiting with friends and attending bible study groups. She loved having coffee and fellowship with her friends at the Tecumseh Manor.
  She is survived by her son, Arnold Dieckhoff, Jr. and special friend Tonya Raw and her son Alexander of Kansas City, KS, sister, Judy "Ruby" Rezac, brother, Jerry "Vonn" Myers, sisters and brothers-in-law, Mary Kay Hengon, Carol Dieckhoff, Ralph and Donna Dieckhoff, Eleanor and Larry Hart, Linda and Roger Vogel and Sharon and Jim Gnade, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.  
 Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Arnold, and brother, Albert. 
    Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, March 1, 2018 at the Martin Luther Church, rural Johnson, Nebraska with Rev. Ken Tubbesing officiating.
  Visitation will be 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., with family greeting friends from 5-6 p.m. Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at the Wherry Mortuary in Tecumseh, Nebraska and one hour prior to the service at the church.
  Memorials may go to the family’s choice.
   Interment will be in the Martin Luther Cemetery, rural Johnson, Nebraska.
