Paul A Manly, 90, of Rushville, Missouri, passed away at the Leavenworth Medicalodge on March 4, 2018.

A Rosary recitation will be held Monday, March 12, 2018 at 6:30 P.M. at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with visitation with the family to follow until 8:00 P.M. A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 17th at Sugar Creek Christian Church at 2:00 P.M. In Lieu of flowers; donations may be made to Sugar Creek Christian Church or God's Mountain; both of Rushville, MO in care of the funeral home.

Paul was born August 7, 1927 in Frankfort, KS. He was one of eight children born to Elmer and Katie Manly.

He farmed and worked for Franklin County on county roads, bridges and railroads. Paul served in the United States Army in World War II. He worked over 30 years as a maintenance supervisor for the Youth Center in Atchison, KS, where he retired in 1992. 

On June 16, 1992 he married Donna S. Bennett in Atchison, Kansas.

Paul loved his family and the precious time he spent with all of them. He enjoyed fishing, hunting for mushrooms, driving his tractor and traveling. He took pleasure in visiting with people, loving on his pets, tinkering with things and a good hearted laugh.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers, two sisters, a daughter; Brenda Barnett, one step daughter and two step grandchildren.

Survivors include: his wife of 26 years, Donna, of their Rushville home; children; Regina (David) Sinclair, Connie (Brion) Frakes, Diana (Mike) Matakas, Bruce (Ramona) Bennett, Daniel (Teisha) Bennett, Bill (Terry) Keasling, Kristy (Jim) Barton, Donna Boos, Patty Molt, 26 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
