Thomas C. Hiers, 79, of Rogers, Arkansas passed away Tuesday, February 27, 2018 at the Mercy Hospital VWA in Rogers, Arkansas.

He was born on August 10, 1938 in Tampa, Florida the son of Ancil and Martha Thomas Hiers.

Thomas served his country for four years as a flight mechanic in the United States Air Force. He believed in living life to the fullest and demonstrated this zeal through extensive travel across the United States in their motorhome, boating, motorcycling and trap shooting. Hobbies were not just spare time activities; they were purposed. Dedicated hours spent keeping up with and expanding his knowledge of the latest technology to handcrafting tools to accomplish a task also speak to this zeal and the idea that we can continue to learn and grow at any season of life.
