Luella W. Enneking, 90, of Seneca, KS, died Thursday morning, March 15, 2018 at Crestview Nursing and Residential Living in Seneca.

She was born on February 20, 1928 to Albert and Anna Runnebaum Roggenkamp on farm 2 miles south of Lillis. she grew up there, and attended the Lillis school and graduated from the eighth grade. When she was finished with the eighth grade she stayed home and took care of her father until she got married.

In 1952, she married Robert Enneking at St. Joseph Church in Lillis, KS. They lived in Topeka for nine years, before moving to Seneca.

Luella was a member of Sts. Peter & Paul Church, the St. Ann’s Altar Society, Earle W. Taylor ladies Auxiliary, and the Seneca Memorial Post Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed Bingo, crossword puzzles, collecting bells and teapots, game shows and golf. When she had time, she volunteered at the Sts. Peter and Paul Mission in Seneca.

Survivors are two sons, Gerald (Sherri) Enneking of Auburn, KS and Gregory Enneking of Seneca; a daughter, Mary Ann (Marvin Streit) Weaver of Seneca; a sister Joann O’Shea of Oskaloosa, seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband Robert on May 9, 2007, a son, Dennis on April 24, 1999, her siblings, Ralph, Cecelia, Mary, Mildred, Alma, Lorene and Eileen.

A rosary will be at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at Lauer Funeral Home in Seneca. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, March 26, 2018 at Sts. Peter & Paul Church in Seneca.  Burial will be in the church cemetery in Seneca.

Memorials will be designated at a later date, and sent in care of the family.
