PARENTS:  William and Tomma Jean (Cox) Sailors, Sr.

MILITARY:  William served in the U. S. Navy

MARRIAGE:  he married Linda Leafty June 25, 1990 at St. Joseph, MO.

LIFE HISTORY:

Bill was raised in California and moved to Falls City in the 1980’s. He worked at Woodings-Verona, WASP at Falls City and Wilde Tool in Hiawatha, KS. He was an over the road truck driver for Swift Trucking and drove a bus for Greyhound Bus Lines. He retired due to his health in 2000.

ORGANIZATIONS:  He was a member of Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints at Hiawatha.

Wife: Linda Sailors of Reserve, KS

Sons: Steve Sailors of San Diego, CA

Doug Sailors of Auburn, NE

Daughter: Michelle Sailors of Fresno, CA

Step-children: Michael Goldman of Atchison, KS

                        Kristina Goldman of Laurel, NE

                        Laura Sailors of Auburn, NE

Brothers: Mike Sailors of Shubert, NE

                Ben Sailors of California

Sisters: Fran McGee and Kay Pederson both of Arkansas

PRECEDED IN DEATH BY:  by his parents

FUNERAL SERVICES:  will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints at Hiawatha. Interment will be in Steele Cemetery. Military graveside honors by Falls City Ceremonial Honor Guard.

FAMILY WILL RECEIVE FRIENDS:  on Wednesday from 7-8:00 PM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home.
