Roland “Rollie” J. Roth

Roland “Rollie” J. Roth, 71, of Humboldt, Nebraska was born on November 21, 1946 in Malcolm, Nebraska to Robert James and Verna (Casement) Roth.  He was raised in Malcolm where he attended grade school.  Rollie later graduated from Malcolm High School with the class of 1965.  While in high school, Rollie participated in football for two years.

Rollie moved to the Table Rock area where he farmed with his brother Robert Jr.  He also worked for the Schilling Elevator in Pawnee City.  Rollie was a member of the Pawnee City Jaycees and served for many years on the Pawnee County Fair Board.

Rollie passed away on Monday, December 18, 2017, at the Colonial Acres Nursing Home in Humboldt, Nebraska having reached the age of seventy-one years and twenty-seven days.  He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters: Sandra Rasco and Bobbette (Don) Bailey, and twin brother Roland Roth Jr.

Rollie is survived by his sister Sharon Gray and her husband Elvin of Hopkens, MO; and other relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, April 6, 2018, at The Wherry Mortuary in Pawnee City, Nebraska with Pastor Howard Blecha officiating.

A Graveside Inurnment will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family’s choice with a later designation.
