Shirley L. Thomas, 58, of Axtell, Kan., died April 8, 2018 at her home in Axtell.

Visitation is Saturday, April 14, from 2:30 to 3:30 p.m. at the Axtell-Landreth Funeral Home.  Followed by a service at 3:30 p.m., Saturday, April 14 at the Axtell-Landreth Funeral Home.

Private burial will be in the Seneca City Cemetery.

Shirley was born May 3, 1959 at Hampton, Virg., to Donald and Ellen (Oblea) Dixon.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her partner, Karen Tanking, Axtell; and two brothers, Larry Dixon and Ray (Theresa) Dixon.

A memorial fund has been established to the Axtell EMS.  Contributions may be sent in care of the Axtell-Landreth Funeral Home.
