Norma Jean Minor, 78, of Topeka, was found at her home on April 25, 2018.

She was born October 10, 1939 at Nortonville, KS, the daughter of James Henry and Mary Margaret Noll Schrick.

She graduated from Mount St. Scholastica High School, Atchison, in 1957. She worked as a Bookkeeper for the Votech School in Atchison and McCormick Distillery, Weston, MO, retiring in 2013. She was a member of Christ the King Church, Topeka and Volunteered at St. Francis Hospital and Catholic Charities.

Norma married James Allen Minor on May 27 1961. They later divorced.

Survivors include three sons, Timothy Allen Minor, Tonganoxie, “Randy” James Minor, New York, NY, Aaron Anderson (Susie) Minor, Louisburg, KS, a daughter, Elizabeth Anne (Todd) Arndt, Omaha, NE, eight siblings, Dorothy Nolting, Derby, Rosella Hollis, Ozawkie, Sister Mary Rae, Atchison, Marian Nolting, Nortonville, Robert Schrick, Topeka, Marcelline Desko, Olathe, James Schrick, Nortonville, Bernadine Domann, Winchester.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Louise Noll. 

Cremation is planned.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday at St. Joseph Catholic  Church, Nortonville. Inurnment will be at a later date at St. Joseph Cemetery, Nortonville.
