William W. Franken, 81, of Fanning, Kansas passed away May 31, 2018 at the Highland Healthcare Center.

Bill was born on March 3, 1937 in Fanning, Kansas to William A. & Harriett (Guthrie) Franken.

He was a member of the St. Charles Catholic Church in Troy, Kansas, and the Knights of Columbus.

Bill married Julia (Cobb) Thompson on September 17, 1966. She survives of the home. Bill was a Truck Driver and a Farmer.

He was preceded in death by his parents & 3 brothers, an infant & John Paul and Andrew Franken, 2 sisters, an infant and  Kathleen Sudduth, and by a grandson Scott King.

Funeral Mass: 10:30 A.M. Monday, June 4, 2018 at St. Charles Catholic Church, Troy, KS.

Rosary: 6:00 P.M. Sunday evening, with visitation to follow until 8:00, at Harman Rohde Funeral Home, Troy, KS. Friends may call after 9 A.M. Sunday.

Burial: St. James Cemetery, Fanning, KS
