Susan Elizabeth (Dittemore) Nelson, 60, of Wathena, Kansas passed away Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at the Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Susan was born on May 22, 1958 in to Robert Eugene & Mary (Sutton) Dittemore.

She was a member of the Christ Lutheran Church, (where she was baptized on June 1, 1958 & where she taught Sunday school for over 35 years) & American Legion Auxiliary both of Wathena, Kansas, & the Kansas Pharmacist Association.

Susan was a Pharmacist, for 30 years including owning & operating Nelson’s Hometown Pharmacy’s in Wathena & Troy.

Susan married Michael Nelson on August 11, 1984 in Wathena, Kansas. He survives of the home.

She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Amos Nelson & a sister, Amy Dittemore.

Funeral Service: 2:30 P.M. Tuesday, June 5, 2018

    At the Christ Lutheran Church, Wathena, Kansas

Visitation: 1 P.M. Tuesday prior to service at the church.  Friends may call after 9 A.M. Monday at the Harman-Rohde Funeral Home in Wathena, Kansas.

Burial: Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Wathena, Kansas.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Christ Lutheran Sunday School.
