During his younger years, Bob enjoyed hunting, attending and watching baseball games, and helping out his neighbors. Bob loved his church family from the Church of the Nazarene in Falls City, NE, and later the Big Lake Baptist Church in Big Lake, MO.

Later in life, he found immense pleasure in attending his grandkids activities which ranged from wrestling tournaments to livestock shows. He was also an avid watcher of KU basketball and St Louis Cardinal’s baseball.

Bob had Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy and was confined to home for the last two years. During this time, Bob especially cherished his weekly get together with his siblings. Time spent with family was precious to Bob. Over the years, he became a passionate bird watcher. He had many bird feeders outside his front window.
