Betty Jane Tubach, 92, of Falls City, NE, passed away June 24, 2018 at Falls City. She was born February 6, 1926 at Falls City to John and Celia (Lawrence) Lichty. 

She married Alvin Tubach on December 27, 1944 at Falls City.  He passed away June 27, 1981.

Betty Jane was raised on the family farm northeast of Falls City and attended Glendale District 30 Country School. She graduated from Falls City High School in 1943. After graduation she worked at the county extension office. When married they made their home on a farm at the Preston corner for a short time and then moved into Falls City. She was an active member of the Rebecca Lodge, was a 4-H leader and active in the Falls City Band Parents. She and Alvin enjoyed playing cards, church choir and family events. She was a member of Evangelical United Brethren Church.

Betty Jane is survived by her daughter, Jane Flynn of Lincoln, son-in-law, Fred Sikora of Falls City, grandchildren, Shane Flynn and his wife Laurie, Aaron Flynn and Sharon Wilcox, Douglas Sikora and his wife Heather, Jennifer Sikora, all of Lincoln, Nic Sikora and wife Andrea of Dawson, NE, 8 great-grandchildren, brother, John Lichty, Jr. and his wife Marge of Plattsmouth, NE, brother-in-law, Jim Tubach of Manhattan, KS, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a daughter, Pam Sikora.

Her memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 10:30 AM at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Paul Weinert officiating. Inurnment will be in Steele Cemetery.
