Tecumseh, NE

Bette Ann (Frank) Fisher, 67, Tecumseh, Nebraska, passed away Monday, May 7, 2018 at Bryan East Medical Center in Lincoln, Nebraska.  She was born July 2, 1950 to Charles and Verlea (Bridgmon) Frank in Pawnee City, Nebraska.
Bette went to Table Rock High School where she graduated in 1968.  After graduation, Bette started working for the Campbell Soup Company in Tecumseh at the wing machine and as a sorter until it closed in 1997.  From there she went to work as a cashier at Casey's General Store until 2000, when she started as a front desk clerk for the Super 8 Motel and was later promoted to Assistant Manager until she retired.

Bette married John "Fud" Fisher on August 31, 1986 at the Tecumseh Golf Course.  They had a small ceremony on Hole 5 with all the guests ushered to their seats on golf carts. John passed away October 23, 2002.
One of Bette's highlights of her life was going on vacations with family.  Some of her favorite trips included going to San Diego, CA with John, seeing Graceland, as she loved Elvis, and going to Fishers, Indiana. She especially loved taking trips to visit her nephew Brent in Starksville, MI, Tuscon, AZ, Morgantown, WV and Cleveland, OH.  Bette loved spending time with her nieces and nephews whether it is was road tripping with Elaine down to Maryville, MO to take Brent and Amy out for dinner or having slumber parties at her house with Amber, Tyler and Logan while they hit golf balls across the highway.  She taught all of Elaine's children how to drive on Johnson County back roads.  Bette was thankful she was able to be part of all the nieces and nephews weddings and see them start their families.  Family was very important to her.
In 2003, Bette and Bob Repp got reacquainted and Bette enjoyed spending time with Bob, his children and grandchildren.  Bette enjoyed visits from Bob's children and spending occasional holidays with them.  She went with Bob to his grandchildren's Christmas programs, and to baseball and softball games.  Bob and Bette took a lot of one day road trips and trips to Casino White Cloud to check out all the small towns in a four state area.

She liked spending her free time crocheting, knitting, doing word search puzzles, Mah Jong and most recently doing adult coloring books.  Some of her favorite things were her cats.  Even though she never actually picked any of them, she loved them all like she had.  Bette was a kind, thoughtful, generous person who will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her sister, Elaine Reschke of Tecumseh, brother, Howard Frank and wife Brenda of Steinauer, longtime companion, Bob Repp of Tecumseh, nephews, Brent Reschke and wife Kathleen and children Julia and Rosemary of Indianapolis, IN, Tyler Frank and wife Terra and children Maelynn and Nash of Falls City and Logan Frank and wife Kelly of Johnson, nieces, Amy Nabach and husband Jerry and Amber Wellman and husband Steve all of Lincoln, Bob's daughters, Michelle "Shelly" Howard and son Robert Schmiegelow of Tecumseh, Sheila Repp and daughter Ana Ahrens and husband James all of Omaha and Lori Speckmann and husband Scott and sons William and David of Johnson, other relatives and many friends.
