Jack Dean "Tussy-Ha" Keo, 65, of Horton, Kansas passed away on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 at his father's home.

He was born on February 3, 1953 in Horton, Kansas the son of Keith and Aileen (Wahwahssuck) Keo.

Jack graduated from Powhattan High School in 1971 and then enlisted in the U.S. Navy serving for 4 years during the Vietnam Era where he received the bronze star. He worked for the Kickapoo Tribal Police Department, Jackson County Sherriff's Department and worked for a patient Transport Service in Lawrence, Kansas before retiring.

Jack was a member of the Kickapoo Tribe, Kickapoo American Legion, kahbeah Church and the Church Of The Lord Jesus Christ. He was very creative with Arts and Crafts and loved to joke around. On August 5, 1976 he married Debra Cadue in Horton, Kansas.

Survivors include his wife, Debra Keo of the home; father, Keith Keo of Horton, Kansas; son, Leo Wayne Keo of Horton, Kansas; two daughters, LaVone Keo and Monica Keo both of Horton, Kansas; three brothers, Rudy Keo of Horton, Kansas, Dennis Keo of Fort Totten, North Dakota and Ronnie Keo of Horton, Kansas; two sisters, Dorene Keo of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Maureen Keo of Horton, Kansas; nine grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his mother and a son, William Lee Keo in 2013.

Native American Supper will be at 6:00 P.M. on Thursday, August 2, 2018 at the Kickapoo Community Building on the Kickapoo Reservation.

Funeral services will be at 9:00 A.M. on Friday, August 3, 2018 at the Kickapoo Community Building with burial to follow at the Cadue-Mattwaoshe Cemetery. A special message may be sent to the family at www.dishon-maple-chaney.com
