Phyllis Feldkamp Anderson of Centralia passed away August 7, 2018.

She was born April 18, 1932 on a farm south of Seneca.  She attended grade school at Pickney Country School from 1st grade thru 6th grade then 7th and 8th grade at St. Peter and Paul.  She attended and graduated from Seneca Public High School in 1949.  She worked at Sam Food Center and many grocery stores thru the years.She was united in marriage to Dean H. Anderson of Ponsford, MN on November 29, 1952 in Marysville.   They shared fifty eight years of marriage.  Dean died on March 24, 2010.  To this union 1 daughter and 6 sons were born.  Phyllis lived in Minnesota, Nebraska, Iowa and Kansas.  She was the manager of the Persia, IA Senior Center where she lived for 21 years.  She moved back to Kansas in 2006.  Phyllis enjoyed her plants, playing cards and Scrabble.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Philip (1991) and Ruby Feldkamp (2002), son Jeffrey (2008), grandson J. Jennings (1985) and siblings Gary Feldkamp (2006) and June Boydston (2018).

She is survived by daughter Jean (Fred) Starr, Brighton, CO and sons John (Mary) Houston, TX, Jerry, Anchorage, AK, Jewell (Linda), Sonoita, AZ, James (Michelle), Albine, France, and Jason (Vivian), Plato, MO.  She is also survived by brothers Ernest (Margaret) Feldkamp, Seneca, and Gene Feldkamp, Centralia, sisters Rita Glynn, Pawnee City, NE and DoVeta Armstrong, Centralia.  She has 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be Saturday, August 18th at 10 a.m. at the Centralia Community Church West.

Midwest Cremation Society, in Topeka, is handling arrangements.
