Adolph Cadue Jr.

Adolph "Num-Ke-Kum" Cadue Jr., 74, of Horton, Kansas, passed away on Monday, September 3, 2018 at his home on the Kickapoo Reservation.

He was born on March 23, 1944 in Santa Barbara, California the son of Adolph Cadue Sr. and Murial Gladys Wabskie. Adolph worked as a general laborer and for the tribal government. He was a member of the Kickapoo Tribe and the Kennekuk Church.

On December 7, 1968 he married Rhoda Duncan in Horton, Kansas. Survivors include his wife, Rhoda Cadue of the home; three daughters, Priscilla (Byron) Wakole of Willis, Kansas, Shelley Cadue  and Chastity Cadue both of Horton, Kansas; son, Derrick Cadue of Horton, Kansas; two sisters, Barbara Simon of Horton, Kansas and Sandy Bowen of Kansas City, Missouri; brother, Eugene "Sonny" Wabskie Jr. of Kansas City, Missouri; He was blessed with twelve grandchildren, eighteen great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Adolph Cadue Sr. and Murial Gladys Wabskie, step father, Eugene Wabskie Sr., four sisters, Sheryl Cadue, Sandra Cadue, Shirley Wahwahsuck and Bonita Wabskie and a brother, Gerald Cadue.

Kennekuk Church services will be at 6:00 P.M. on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Kickapoo Community Building on the Kickapoo Reservation. Burial will be at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday morning at the Kennekuk Cemetery on the Kickapoo Reservation.
