Thomas Cooper Wilson

Thomas Cooper Wilson, 77, of Muscotah, Kansas, passed away on Thursday, September 6, 2018 at the North Care Hospice in Kansas City, Missouri.

He was born on February 24, 1941 in Muscotah, Kansas the son of Mike and Irene Cooper Wilson.

Tom worked for Rockwell International and Atchison Casting as a quality control supervisor and was a farmer and stockman before retiring. He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus in Effingham, Kansas and the Kansas Prairie Pickers Association.

On April 9, 1962 he married Connie Kimmi in Everest, Kansas. She preceded him in death on May 16, 2010. He then married his wife of seven years, Carolyn Rickey.

Survivors include his wife Carolyn Wilson of the home; a daughter, Angela (Hossein) Orangifard of Prairie Village, Kansas; son, Tim (Amy) Wilson of Indianapolis, Indiana; three grandchildren, Michael (Krystal) Taylor, Aiden Orangifard and Zahra Orangifard; two great grandchildren, Kayla Taylor and Kody Taylor.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and a daughter, Cindy Wilson.

Funeral mass will be at 11:00 A.M. on Tuesday, September 11, 2018 at the St. Ann's Catholic Church in Effingham, Kansas. A rosary will be recited on Monday evening at 6:30 P.M. with visitation to follow at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas. Burial will be at the Muscotah Cemetery.
