Dean Arthur Robke, 74, of Huron, Kansas, passed away on Saturday, September 15, 2018.

He was born on September 22, 1943 in Seneca, Kansas the son of Gus and Rose Hunninghake Robke. He attended St. Mary's grade school and graduated from Everest High School. Dean was a member of the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Purcell, Kansas. He was a farmer, raised cattle and lived in the Purcell and Huron area. He loved to go to farm sales and work with wood.

Dean is survived by his life companion Edith (Dane) Normile of Denton, Kansas; a niece Susan and two nephews Jason and Greg and numerous great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step father, Franklin "Boomer" Cummings and a brother, Robert Robke.

A rosary will be recited at 6:30 P.M. on Tuesday, September 18, 2018 at the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas where the family will greet friends following the rosary. Funeral mass will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Wednesday, September 19, 2018 at the St. Mary's Catholic Church in Purcell, Kansas. Burial will follow at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
