Doug Edward Moman, 53, of Wamego, Kansas, passed away on Monday, September 17, 2018 at the Valley Vista Nursing Home in Wamego, Kansas.

He was born on May 31, 1965 in Horton, Kansas the son of Jack E. and Judy Stirton Moman. He lived in Hiawatha, Kansas and worked at the sheltered workshop. He then moved to Manhattan, Kansas in 1987 and worked at the Big Lakes sheltered workshop for many years until he became ill. Doug suffered with Alzheimer's for eight years.

He is survived by his mother, Judy Holub of Wamego, Kansas; three brothers, Ron Moman of Wamego, Kansas, Randy Moman of Weatherford, Texas and Danny Moman of Horton, Kansas and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Doug was preceded in death by his father, Jack E. Moman, his paternal grandparents, Jack B. and Edna Moman and his maternal grandparents, Frank and Josephine Stirton.

Cremation is planned with graveside services at a later date at the Horton City Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the Great Lakes Caring Home Hospice or Valley Vista Good Samaritan Nursing Home and may be sent in care of the Dishon-Maple-Chaney Mortuary in Horton, Kansas.
