Gordon James Brown, 63, of the Kickapoo Reservation passed away at his home on Tuesday evening, October 30, 2018.

He was born on March 10, 1955 in Clear Water, Florida the son of James and Alberta Cadue Brown. Gordon worked in construction as a contractor for years. He was a member of the Kickapoo Tribe. On October 16, 1992 he married Jody Busenbarrick.

Survivors include his wife, Jody Brown of the home; two sons, Dusty Brown and Kaleb Brown both of Horton, Kansas; two daughters, Sally Brown and Kaylee Brown both of Horton, Kansas; two stepsons, Aaron Kimmi and Jason Kimmi both of Everest, Kansas; brother, Lincoln Brown of Horton, Kansas; sister, Betty Brown of Horton, Kansas; aunt, Linda Mattwaoshe of Horton, Kansas; 6 grandchildren; 5 step grandchildren and one great grandson.
