Robert G. Krier, Sr., 54, Atchison, Kansas passed away Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Mosaic Life Care Hospital, St. Joseph, Missouri.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, December 5, 2018 at 10:30 A.M. at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with Rev. Jeremy Heppler, OSB officiating. A parish rosary will be recited on Tuesday, December 4th at 6:30 P.M. at the funeral home with visitation with the family to follow until 8:00 P.M. Memorial contributions are suggested to Salvation Army and may be left in care

Robert was born September 20, 1964 in Atchison, Kansas the son of Robert M. and Ruth Abbott Krier. He attended elementary school in Effingham, Kansas and attended Atchison County Community High School.
He and Martha C. Miller were united in marriage in Atchison, Kansas. They later divorced.

Robert was a member of St. Benedict Parish. He was also a longtime volunteer at the AtchisonSalvation Army. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, camping and especially enjoyed the time he could spend with his grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Melissa Swenson, Atchison, KS; Ruth Krier, Dallas, TX; a brother, Brian Krier, Atchison, KS; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son Robert G. Krier, Jr., and his parents, Robert and Ruth Krier.
