 Mildred “Anne” Brunton, 89, of Grantville, formerly of Perry, died Friday, January 25, 2019 at Midland Hospice Care in Topeka. 

She was born December 8, 1929 in Topeka, the daughter of George Hanson “Jack” and Dorothy Katherine Patrick Frisbie. She was a 1948 graduate of Perry Rural High School and attended Clark’s Business School in Topeka. A wife and mother,  “Anne” also worked  many years  at Trude’s Drive In and Maxine’s Drive In, both in Perry and served as a cashier at Bill’s IGA in Perry for 18 years, she retired in 1994. 

She was a member of Grantville United Methodist Church.  She married Elliott Lex Brunton April 6, 1951 in Grantville, He survives at the home.

Survivors include three sons, Mark (Patty) Brunton, Perry, Matt Brunton, Belgrade, MT, Eric (Gina) Brunton, Eudora, one daughter, Ellen (Scott) McPherson, Grantville, one sister, Charlotte Tryon, Marysville, 14 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by one daughter, Jane E. Heiserman, one sister, Katherine Everett, and two brothers, George Patrick Frisbie and William H. Frisbie.
