Lonnie Jasper Raymond Elmore, 50, of Atchison, Kansas passed away Thursday, January 24, 2019 as the result of an automobile accident.

Memorial Services will be Friday, February 1, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Sumner Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Friday, from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m., preceding the service at the funeral home. Memorial contributions are suggested to the Lonnie Elmore Memorial Fund and left in care of the Arensberg-Pruett Funeral Home with whom care has been entrusted. Lonnie was born on July 24, 1968 in Bakersfield, California the son of Reece H. Elmore and Lillian K. Wilson.

He was employed as a Call Advocate in the Customer Service Department with Sprint.

Lonnie and Tonya Longbrake were united in marriage on April 5, 1993 in Las Vegas, Nevada. They were later divorced in March of 2011.

He loved the time he had with his children and grandchildren. He listened to music as his therapy-heavy metal especially. He was a jack of all trades, would eat tacos for every meal if he could and was always known as the jokester. Lonnie was an avid Kansas City Chiefs fan.

Survivors include three daughters, Ashley Elmore (Donald Christeson), Atchison, KS, Brittany (Jonathan) Turner, Atchison, KS, Sareya Elmore, Dalton, GA; three sons, Michael David Martin, Zachary C.J. (Tiffany) Elmore, Matthew Elmore, all of Atchison, KS; three sisters, Hayley Whatts, Bakersfield, CA, Tammy (Bradley) Keys, St. Joseph, MO, Bonnie (Michael) Compton, Bakersfield, CA; a brother, Chad Elmore; Bakersfield, CA; fourteen grandchildren and one on the way.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and Clara Jackson, the mother of his oldest son Michael.
