Jeananne (Hanna) Orr, 76, of Sabetha, Kansas passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at the Apostolic Christian Home in Sabetha.

Jeananne was born August 6, 1942 in Washington, D.C. the daughter of Andrew Maurice and Jean Cecil (Roberts) Hanna.

Jeananne and George were married on May 29, 1965 in Arlington, Virginia. They moved around the world a lot due to George being in the military – Germany, Kentucky, California, Florida and Oklahoma. They made their final home in Sabetha, Kansas.

Jeananne was a member of the Business & Professional Woman’s Club, TRI Kapa Sorority, and volunteered in Hospital Guild and the Christian Woman’s Club.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, George on August 1, 2018; and her son, Jim on November 8, 2013.

She is survived by her daughter, Barbara Payne of Sabetha, KS; her son-in-law, Josh Payne of Sabetha, KS; and four grandchildren, Lauren, Karrington, and Ava Payne, and Olivia Orr.

A Visitation will be held Sunday, April 28, 2019 from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. at the Popkess Mortuary Chapel in Sabetha, KS. Inurnment will be made in the Albany Cemetery at a later date and time.
