Dale Stuke

On Monday January 28, 2019 Dale Walter Stuke passed away at the age of 65 in a Wichita Hospital.

Dale was born on April 10, 1953 in Seneca to Wilbur and Louise Niekamp Stuke. He attended Sts. Peter and Paul Grade school and graduated form Sts. Peter and Paul High School in 1971.

After graduation he helped his father on the family farm, until he had a motorcycle accident which prevented him from doing heavy labor. Shortly after that he went to a correspondence school for drafting and graduated after the course was finished. Later he owned and operated EFD service for a couple years it was a every day delivery company. The he went out west to work For Jim Koehler in the haying fields for a couple years before returning to Wichita to purchase a gas station. He later sold it and started to work for an auto glass company which he worked there for 30 years.

Dale had a passion for music, classic cars and tinkering on house projects. He had played in various bands throughout the years doing what made him happiest, making music. He was known for his sense of humor, sarcasm and at time stubbornness.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents.

Dale was survived by his children Sack Stuke in Wichita and Amie Stuke in Fayetteville, Arkansas, his brothers, Wayne Stuke of Topeka and Galen (Lynette) Stuke of Seneca several nieces and nephews and many cousins.

A visitation and a gathering will be from 1 to 2 P.M. on April 27 at the Lauer Funeral home in Seneca with the burial to follow in the Sts. Peter and Paul catholic Cemetery in Seneca.
