Robert Alexander Inglis, 93, of Beatrice, Nebraska passed away on Friday, May 3, 2019 at the Mosaic Home in Beatrice, Nebraska.  He was born on March 22, 1926 to Peter and Ilma (Bogue) Inglis in Pawnee City, Nebraska.

He grew up on the farm until 1968 and then Robert moved to Lincoln. He lived in Lincoln until December of 1993,  then he moved to the Mosaic Home in Beatrice, Nebraska, where he has resided until his passing.

Robert enjoyed his time on the farm and loved tractors. He liked going to baseball games  and going out to eat with his Mosiac friends.  He enjoyed going to the barber. He had a dry sense of humor and enjoyed comedy shows.  He was gentle and polite and had a wonderful smile.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers and sisters, Mary, Donald, Dale, Dorothy, Leroy, Kenneth, Harold and Willa.

He is survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and numerous friends from the Mosaic Home in Beatrice.

Services 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 8, 2019 at Wherry Mortuary, 919 G Street, Pawnee City, Nebraska.  Officiating Pastor Eric Spruth-Janssen.  Visitation on Wednesday an hour before the service.
