Betty Louise (Langford) Pruitt, 95, passed away, Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at the Medicalodges of Jackson County. She was born October 3, 1923 in Ravanna, MO the daughter of Lyle Kenneth and Lucille B. (Hollingsworth) Langford.

 Betty was a homemaker and housewife.

Betty was united in marriage on April 14, 1940 in Leon, IA to Lee Roy “Arkie” Pruitt. They shared 63 years of marriage before Lee Roy passed away on December 16, 2003. She was also preceded in death by her son, Gary Pruitt; grandson, Russell Pruitt and 2 brothers, Lewis Franklin and Robert Lee Langford.

Betty is survived by a daughter-in-law, Mary Pruitt of Topeka, KS; 1 granddaughter, Janice Tidwell of Topeka, KS; 6 great-grandchildren, Linsey Kueser (Eric), Alec Rodvelt and Kasey Rodvelt, Maggie, Macy and Mary Pruitt and 5 great-great-grandchildren, Julia, Kallee, Lexee, Mellee and Kayslee.

Memorial graveside service will be 9:00 a.m. Saturday, August 17, 2019 at the Holton Cemetery. Mercer Funeral Home in Holton is in charge of arrangements.
