Gary Eugene Feldmann, 82, of rural Humboldt, Nebraska was born on February 6, 1937 to Alfred and Cleo (Adams) Feldmann in Humboldt, Nebraska. He was raised on the family farm south of Humboldt where he was taught by his mother at Middleburg country school. Gary attended Honey Creek High School graduating with the class of 1955. He was employed at James Creamery and the Frontier Trailer Factory in Falls City.  

On November 13, 1960, Gary was united in marriage to Lorma Jeanne Stevicks in Humboldt, Nebraska. To this union three children were born, Tammy, David and Todd. In 1964, the couple moved their family to Farmington, Utah, where Gary learned the carpet laying trade, and then they returned to Nebraska in 1967. Gary was self-employed laying carpet and flooring from 1967-2019

Gary learned about Jehovah’s Witnesses while laying carpet in the Kingdom Hall in Falls City, Nebraska. He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Maryville, Missouri on December 17, 1972. After his baptism, Gary laid carpet in Kingdom Halls across Nebraska, North and South Dakota, Iowa, Minnesota, Kansas, and in Louisiana during Hurricane Katrina clean up. He did many other flooring jobs for people where he lived as well as in Colorado, Nevada, Utah, Wyoming and Indiana. Gary loved to fish, but his greatest joy was talking with others about the Bibles promises and the benefits of knowing God by his name Jehovah.  

Gary passed away on Saturday, October 19, 2019, at his home in rural Humboldt, Nebraska having reached the age of eighty-two years, eight months and thirteen days. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Eldon and Melvin Feldmann and a sister Arlene (Jack) Jauken.

Gary is survived by his loving wife Jeanne Feldmann of rural Humboldt, daughter Tammy (Steve) Anderson of Falls City, sons David (Carol) Feldmann of Auburn, Todd Feldmann of rural Humboldt, grandchildren: Moriah (Andrew) Cheale of Inverness, Scotland, Shelby (Zachary) Wilmes of Omaha, Cody Feldmann of Omaha, sister-in-law Eva Feldmann of Newburg, OR, and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at the Ag Building in Humboldt, Nebraska with Brother Larry Chesnut officiating.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Friday, November 8, 2019, at The Wherry Mortuary in Humboldt with family greeting friends from 6-8 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be given to family’s choice with a later designation.
