Dennie Lee Crofford, 77, of Falls City, Nebraska was born August 18, 1942, in Falls City, Nebraska to Kenneth W. and Helen (Stednitz) Crofford.  He was raised in Falls City where he attended public school and graduated from Falls City High School with the class of 1960.  On June 9, 1961, Dennie was united in marriage to Pamela Weik in Holton, Kansas.  To this union a daughter, Lesa, was born.  The couple later divorced.  On August 14, 1976, Dennie was married to Martha Jane Allen at the First Brethren Church in Falls City.  To this union a son, John, was born.  Dennie lived his entire life in Falls City where he was employed at Falls City Meat Company for thirty years.  He enjoyed spending his spare time camping and fishing.  Dennie passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020, at the Falls City Care Center in Falls City, Nebraska having reached the earthly age of seventy-seven years, five months and twelve days.  He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Barbara (Gene) Killingsworth, son-in-law Jerome Keithley and sisters-in-law Wanda and Beverly Crofford.

Dennie is survived by his loving wife Martha of Falls City, daughters: Lesa Crofford of Falls City, Michelle Keithley of Falls City, Victoria Cook and Kevin Beckner of Falls City, a son John Crofford of Grand Island, grandchildren: Jordan Keithley of Falls City, Brittany (Michael) Hunter of Dallas, TX; Brandon (Ashley) Keithley of Falls City, Rachael Keithley of Maryville, MO; Ryan Keithley of Omaha, Zachary and Nicholas Keithley of Falls City, Cameron Gill of Lincoln, Amanda Gill of Falls City, Milayna Crofford of Falls City, Creighton Crofford of Falls City, great-grandchildren: Gracie and Bryer Gill of Falls City, brothers: Jerry Crofford of Falls City, Roger Crofford of Falls City, Terry (Cathy) Crofford of Carl Junction, MO; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.      

Memorial Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, February 5, 2020, at the First Church of Nazarene, 1812 Wilson Street, in Falls City with Pastor Stephen Floyd officiating.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m.- 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 4, 2020, at The Hall Funeral Home, 2403 Harlan Street, in Falls City.  Family will greet friends from 6-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Inurnment will be at The Steele Cemetery in Falls City at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to the family’s choice with a later designation.
