Jerry Clark
Dorr and Clark Funeral Home of Falls City

Jerry Clark, 73, of Falls City, NE, passed away May 1, 2020 at Falls City. He was born March 9, 1947 at Honolulu, HI to Harold and Rhea (Kimsey) Clark.

He married Barbara Gibbs on June 27, 1965 at Reserve, KS.

Jerry lived at different place growing up due to his father’s military service until moving to Falls City in 1958. He attended Falls City Public Schools and started work at Frontier Trailer Factory. In 1971 they moved to Colorado where he was charged with opening a new mobile home factory. They moved back to Falls City in 1979 and he worked for the City of Falls City, working at the power plant for twenty years and then for the water plant for 19 ½ years, retiring in January of 2019. He was on the volunteer Fire Department for twenty-five years and taught hunters education for thirty years. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a member of Falls City Elks Lodge and International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Barbara of Falls City, son, Dan and his wife Lee of Perry, KS, step-mother, Adeline Clark of Falls City, sister, Brenda Meyer and her husband Allen of Falls City, step-siblings, Stephan Tobias of Evergreen, CO, Douglas Tobias and his wife Iris of Erie, CO, Cheryl Rehfeld of Baton Rouge, LA, grandchildren,  Britney Stephens and her husband Landan of Lawrence, KS, Ellison Convey and her husband Bradan of Lincoln, NE, Garrett Clark of Salem, great-grandchildren, Bowdhi Convey and Gentry Stephens. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, brother, Jack and a son, Douglas.

A graveside memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Cornelison Cemetery with Reverend Fay Ann Blaylock officiating. Friends may attend but are required to stay in their cars. You may tune your radio to 90.1 FM to listen to the minister.

A register book is available to sign at Dorr and Clark Funeral Home during regular business hours starting Monday. Please bring your own pen for sanitary purposes.

A church memorial service will be held at a later date.
